Edit, Reschedule & Delete Scheduled Posts

Change the caption, move a post to a new time, duplicate it, or delete it — from the Calendar or Posts list.

Plans change. frik.io lets you edit, move, duplicate, or delete any post that hasn't published yet.

Editing a Scheduled Post

  1. Open the Calendar (or the Posts list) and click the post.
  2. It opens in the Composer with all your content and per-network overrides intact.
  3. Make your changes and save. The post keeps its scheduled time unless you change it.

Rescheduling

Two ways:

  • Drag and drop on the Calendar. Grab a scheduled post and drop it on a new day/slot. Only posts with scheduled status are draggable — already-published posts can't be moved.
  • Open the post and change the time. Pick a new date/time in the Composer's scheduling control.

Duplicating

Use the post's menu on the Calendar and choose Duplicate to spin up a copy you can tweak and reschedule — handy for reposting evergreen content or adapting a post for a new date.

Deleting

Open the post's menu and choose Delete (trash icon). Deleting removes it from the queue so it will not publish. Deleting a scheduled post does not remove anything already posted to the network.

Notes

  • You can only edit/reschedule posts that haven't gone out yet.
  • If a post failed, you'll see it flagged in the Posts list — open it to fix the issue (often a reconnect) and Retry.
