Learn how to create a social media post using frik.io.
Step 1: Open the composer
Click Create Post in the sidebar. This opens the composer, where you build every post.
Step 2: Pick where to post
Under Post to, click the account chips for the profiles you want to post to. Click a chip to select it; a checkmark appears. Click it again to deselect. Don't see an account? Click Connect accounts or the Add account chip.
Step 3: Write your caption
Type your message in the big text box on the Shared tab. The character counter under the box shows how many characters you have left for each network you picked.
Step 4: Add a photo or video (optional)
In the Media box, click Upload to add a file from your computer, or click From Library to reuse something you uploaded before. You can drag your photos to reorder them.
Step 5: Choose Publish Now
In the Publishing box, leave Publish Now selected so your post goes out straight away.
Step 6: Send it
Click the big Publish Now button at the bottom. That's it — your post is on its way.
You're Done
Your post has been sent to every account you selected. You'll find it in your Posts list, and if anything goes wrong you'll see a red banner at the top of the app so you can fix it.
Troubleshooting
- The Publish button is greyed out: you either forgot to pick an account or left the caption empty. Select at least one account and type a caption.
- "Caption too long": one of your networks has a shorter limit than your caption. Trim it, or shorten it just for that network on its own tab.
- My photo is still spinning: wait a moment for the upload to finish — the Publish button turns on once it's done.
- No accounts to pick: you haven't connected a profile yet. Click Connect accounts first.
