Learn how to schedule a post for later using frik.io.
Step 1: Write your post
Click Create Post, pick your accounts under Post to, and type your caption. Add a photo or video with the Upload or From Library button if you like.
Step 2: Choose Schedule for later
In the Publishing box, click Schedule for later. A date and time picker appears.
Step 3: Pick a date
Click Pick date and choose the day you want your post to go out from the calendar.
Step 4: Pick a time
Set the time using the time picker next to the date. frik.io shows the earliest available time under the picker — posts need about 10 minutes to enter the queue, so you can't pick a time that's too soon.
Step 5: Use Best Time (optional)
If a gold Best Time button appears, click it to see recommended slots based on your posting history and industry benchmarks. Click a suggested slot to fill in the date and time for you.
Step 6: Schedule it
Click the Schedule Post button at the bottom. Your post is now booked.
You're Done
Your post is scheduled and will publish automatically at the time you chose. You can find it on your Calendar and in your Posts list, and change it any time before it goes out.
Troubleshooting
- "Date required": you clicked Schedule Post without picking a day. Click Pick date first.
- My time got changed: if you picked a time that was too soon, frik.io bumps it to the earliest slot that works and asks you to click Schedule again to confirm.
- No Best Time button: best-time suggestions only appear once frik.io has enough data for your selected networks.
- I want to change it later: open the post from the Calendar to edit the time, or drag it to a new slot.
