Media makes posts perform. frik.io gives you two ways to attach it and a central library to reuse it.
Attaching Media in the Composer
- Drag and drop an image or video straight onto the Composer, or
- Click Add Media to open the Media Library and pick an existing asset.
frik.io validates the file before it's used so you don't discover a problem at publish time.
The Media Library
The Media Library (/app/media) stores your uploaded assets so you can reuse them across posts without re-uploading. Open it from the sidebar or from the Composer's Add Media button. The Free plan includes 100 MB of media storage.
How Media Behaves Per Network
Each network applies its own media rules automatically:
- Instagram — feed video publishes as a Reel; every post needs at least one image or video.
- Google Business — one image per post (only the first attached image is used).
- Facebook photo posts — one photo per photo-post; video and Stories are supported.
- X — images are uploaded via X's media endpoint; oversized photos are auto-compressed to fit the 5 MB limit.
- YouTube / TikTok — expect a video file.
- Bluesky (coming soon) — up to 4 images per post.
Tips
- Add alt text where supported for accessibility.
- Import directly from Canva or Google Drive via Integrations to skip the download-then-upload step.
