Franchise Mode (Multi-Location)

Run one HQ over many location workspaces — push campaigns down, roll performance up, and lock brand rules.

Franchise Mode is for organizations that operate one brand across many locations — franchises, chains, multi-site businesses. It sits on top of workspaces: an HQ workspace oversees a set of location workspaces. Franchise Mode is an Agency-plan capability.

The Building Blocks

  • Organization — the top-level entity linking HQ and its locations.
  • HQ workspace — the corporate control centre. You promote an existing workspace to HQ from the HQ Console (/app/hq).
  • Location workspaces — one per site. Each has its own accounts and calendar but inherits brand rules from HQ.

Setting It Up

  1. Open the HQ Console. If no organization exists yet, you'll see a setup card to promote the current workspace to HQ.
  2. Add locations from the console — individually, or in bulk via import.
  3. Each location becomes a managed workspace you can drill into for its recent and upcoming posts and account health.

HQ Console

The console shows a grid of every location with account-health indicators, last-post timing, and setup state, plus a detail view per location. From HQ you also get:

  • HQ Campaigns (/app/hq/campaigns) — build a campaign centrally and push it down to chosen locations.
  • HQ Analytics (/app/hq/analytics) — roll performance up across all locations.
  • HQ Compliance (/app/hq/compliance) — monitor whether locations follow brand rules.

Strict Mode

Strict Mode enforces brand consistency by limiting what a location can change versus what HQ dictates (inherited brand kit, approved content). Turn it on when locations must stay strictly on-brand; leave it off when you want locations to have local freedom.

Billing

Agency includes a set number of location workspaces; additional locations are billed per-location per month. Deleting a location releases its paid slot and prorates the credit to your next invoice.

Troubleshooting

  • Can't create an organization: Franchise Mode requires the Agency plan.
  • Can't add another location: you've reached your entitled locations — add paid slots or remove an unused location.
