frik.io publishes to Facebook Pages — not personal profiles (Meta's API does not allow posting to personal timelines). You connect once and choose which of your Pages to manage.
How to Connect
- Go to Social Accounts and click the Facebook tile.
- Log in to Facebook and approve the permissions.
- Meta shows you a Page-selection screen — grant access to every Page you want to manage in frik.io. Deselecting a Page here means frik.io can't post to it.
- Back in frik.io, the granted Pages appear as connectable assets. Attach the ones that belong in this workspace.
Permissions Requested
- pages_manage_posts — publish posts to your Pages
- pages_read_engagement — read post performance and comments
- pages_show_list — list the Pages you manage
- public_profile — basic identity
Selecting Pages
Each Facebook Page is its own connected account in frik.io. Because plan limits count accounts, you attach only the Pages you actually schedule for. Newly discovered Pages are not auto-attached — you pick them, and each attach is checked against your plan's account limit.
Publishing Specifics
- Text, photo, and video posts are all supported, published straight to the Page.
- Stories are supported for images and video (video Stories post to the Page's
/video_storiesendpoint). - Only one photo per photo-post is published via the API.
Reconnecting (Full Re-sync)
Meta connections behave differently from other networks: every reconnect performs a full asset re-sync. frik.io re-reads the complete list of Pages you granted, updates tokens for the ones it knew, and marks any Page you no longer grant as access removed. This is why reconnecting is the fix for almost every Facebook issue — it re-establishes the exact set of Pages Meta is willing to let frik.io touch.
Disconnecting
Use the ⋯ → Disconnect menu on the Page's card. To revoke entirely, remove frik.io under Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations.
Troubleshooting
- "No Facebook Pages found": you either don't manage any Page, or you unchecked every Page on Meta's selection screen. Create/claim a Page, then reconnect and grant it.
- A Page disappeared from frik.io: it was likely deselected during a reconnect, or your role on the Page changed. Reconnect and re-grant the Page.
- Posts fail after working fine: the Page token expired or your admin role changed — reconnect to full-sync.
